Response Area

The District provides Emergency Services to an estimated 80,000 citizens within approximately 175 square miles, an area almost 4 times larger than The Woodlands, and 2/3 the size of Austin or Fort Worth, Texas. The District covers an area between Tomball, The Woodlands, Montgomery and Waller, Texas.

Purpose

MCESD No. 10 is charged with providing firefighting facilities and suppression and rescue services to its citizens. As of January 1, 2022, the district is now the sole provider of these services utilizing full-time, part-time and volunteer personnel to deliver these services.

ISO RATING

Magnolia Volunteer Fire Department (ESD #10) is one of only 5% of all fire departments in the United States to have obtained an ISO 2 or better rating.  As a direct result of the ISO 2 rating, Magnolia area residents and businesses were able to realize reduced insurance rates.
